As part of the Cas Ergo demonstrations booked in, recently, it was the turn of a weapons company in the UK.

The customer had seen the ‘Ironhand’ on the BBC news earlier in the year and had enquired through our manufacturer, Bioservo about this fantastic product.

Ironhand - Cas Ergo

The opportunity arose in that two members of our team were able to demo over a teams this time as an introduction but of course this can be done in person at your convenience. There were 8 people on the call, all interested in what we had to say about the Ironhand.

CAS Ergo – the questions asked were :

How many times can the Ironhand go through the washing machine?

Does it have any effect on reducing vibration?

Can they have access to the Bioservo Academy? (watching videos on how to set up and use)

Great questions! All duly answered by our fantastic team!

If you would like a demonstration of the Iron hand or any of the fantastic Ergo products them please let us know on 0121 327 1700 or email us on info@cas-ltd.uk.com.

We’d love the opportunity to see how this could work on your premises with your employees. Health and Safety at work is such a high priority as is looking after your employees. 🙂

Let’s introduce John Adams!

Let’s introduce John Adams!

Let’s introduce John Adams!..to the team at CAS Assembly Tooling and Services.

John began working for JCB back in 2004 and in 2007 joined the ‘Manufacturing Engineering’ team. This is where he met a certain Sales Manager who went by the name of Neil Evans!!😉

Neil Evans, Sales Director at CAS Assembly Tooling and Services became a regular visitor to JCB and they often went for a brew!🍵

During his time at JCB John was lucky enough to have worked on numerous projects in the UK and abroad. This ranged from day-to-day problem solving to the introduction of new machines to the assembly line.

Having taken voluntary redundancy from JCB in June 2020 when Covid struck, John went self-employed for a while before taking a Production engineer role in Tamworth.

When an opportunity to join CAS came about in 2022, he jumped at the chance to join the team.

✅John finally joined CAS in Feb 2023 as JCB Service Contract Manager. It’s great to have him on board with the JCB and CAS team!

Hobbies!

During John’s spare time he can be found competing in Hillclimb and Sprint events in a Renault sport Clio197, and is a regular in the ‘Curbrough Sprint Championship’ where last year he finished 2nd in class. (Must do better!!)

When not racing, John is most likely to be found in his garage tinkering with the car in the quest to find the odd 1/10th of a second or so.

He follows most car & motorcycle racing so to summarise if it’s got an engine he’s interested!!

John also has a retired racing Greyhound who loves to take him for a walk!🐕

Let’s introduce Roger King!

Let’s introduce Roger King!..to the team at CAS Assembly Tooling and Services.

Roger started with Atlas Copco in 1992, in an admin/tech support role then went on the road in a sales role in 1996. This was where he first met Dave Embley, Managing Director of CAS Assembly Tooling and Services… back in the day!

Roger moved on to Martlets Air Power (Winchester) still promoting Atlas Copco Tools. When Martlets was taken over by Atlas he was given the Atlas Copco Tools Distribution. This continued for a number of years and then he joined Desoutter in 2011 of which CAS now work alongside so he knows the products. Knowledge is power!

In 2016 Roger joined AP Tools, and then Ray Moss Tools (Harlow) and continued with them until 6 months ago. This is when he saw an opportunity to join CAS!

So, he has many years experience in providing tooling solutions, both directly to customers and through distribution. Roger loves working at CAS as we have such a great portfolio and reputation. It has given him some great opportunities in the South of England. He loves being part of the well established team at CAS and in a thriving company.

Hobbies!

In his spare time Roger goes to as many gigs as possible loves live music especially the Foo fighters and Stereophonics. He can regularly be found at his local pub watching live bands too!

When not at work, Roger loves to ride his mountain bike as much as he can. When the opportunity arises, he likes to go to Spain for some off road motor biking.🚲

It’s great to have Roger on board. 😊

If you are looking for tooling solutions, Roger’s the man that can in the South of England! Give him a call on 07487 615488 .
